As a response to the unique challenges posed by Covid-19, Bayside Wellness is offering our patients our new Telehealth Program!
What is TeleHealth?
The delivery of support services over telecommunication includes video and voice conferencing, as well as the ability for us to share exercise prescription via secure services.
We are offering 4 types of services:

Since chiropractors often use hands-on skills to both assess and treat a patient, Telehealth creates an obvious barrier to our usual assessment process. However, we can still offer a wealth of knowledge from a consultation:
In order to utilize our Telehealth services, you will be asked to read and verbally acknowledge consent to undergo assessment, evaluation or treatment.

We are offering 4 types of services:
- Teletherapy Sessions with one of our Psychotherapists or Dietitians
- Acute Clinical Assessment – assessment by your chiropractor of your functional abilities, concerns, and movement issues while you remain in your own home
- Clinical Home Therapy – advice, exercise prescription and self management strategies by your chiropractor while you remain in your own home
- Clinical Exercise Therapy & Fitness – this is directed by your chiropractor of choice
What else should I know:
- You will be connected to your practitioner via your smartphone, tablet or computer.
- To get there, you will receive a link that is emailed to you, you simply click the link and we will be there in the open appointment session.
- There is no need to download any software, you simply click the link to enter the appointment.

- Often, your history, observation and objective tests (self-performed) can provide a reasonable diagnosis for which we can work from
- A reasonable treatment plan of self-management advice, stretches, strength exercises, self-mobilization, and other home strategies can, in most cases, be provided
- You need a computer or phone with internet capabilities, a forward camera and microphone
- (usually built into your device)
- There is NO need to download software or create an account. Just use a browser on a device
- Please wear comfortable clothes; (i.e. track pants, shorts, t-shirt or tank top etc.)
- Step One – contact us ([email protected]) or book online HERE
- Step Two – Our staff will contact you to arrange an appointment time, or simply select your preferred time on our online calendar
- Step Three – An email will be sent to you with a link to click to enter our virtual office
- The actual appointment will seem a lot like videoconferencing you may have already used, except it is encrypted for your privacy and safety
- If indicated, further recommendations and exercises will be sent to you as quickly as possible
- Follow–up appointments are then arranged with your practitioner, if required
- If you are having difficulty joining our virtual waiting room, check your email again for the link to click
- You will have to ensure privacy on your end (we understand kids and pets are unpredictable!)
