Dr. Jennifer Fawcett

Dr. Jennifer Fawcett, owner of Bayside Wellness, was born and raised on a farm in the Beaver Valley area. She graduated with clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she spent four years training to become a doctor of chiropractic.
She has had great success in treating many conditions and works with patients ranging from infants to elite athletes, as well as pregnancy and the geriatric population. In addition to being a chiropractor, Jennifer has additional training in pre and postnatal care, pediatric care, is certified in Webster Technique, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, the Graston Technique, and Custom Orthotic Fittings.
Prior to pursuing her career as a chiropractor, Jennifer graduated with First Class Standings from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and a minor in Gerontology. She also acquired certificates in Dementia Studies and Palliative Care. During her four years of study, Jennifer worked in the Cardiac Rehabilitation department at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, as well as several local chiropractic clinics. Additionally, Jennifer’s undergraduate thesis initiated her six year study on the Graston Technique and the treatment of shoulder injuries.
Through her experiences she has gained a unique insight into the rehabilitation process. She continues to expand and refine her clinical skill set in order to provide the best care possible for her patients. She incorporates the latest evidenced based techniques into all of her treatments.
Her goal with every patient is educating them and getting them back to the activities they love as quickly as possible.
