
Dr. Elizabeth Koehle
Chiropractor
Dr. Elizabeth Koehle BMSc (Hons), D.C (nee Hutchesson); is a doctor of chiropractic and acupuncture provider. She has been in practice since 2007. She attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Previous to that, Dr. Koehle graduated on the Dean's List with an Honours Medical Science degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Western University. She is currently completing her Master's degree in Professional Education at Western University.
Dr. Koehle received her certification in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. She is also a certified Graston® practitioner and uses a lot of soft tissue techniques during her treatments. She uses also cupping and shockwave therapy in addition to other evidence-based rehabilitation techniques. Dr. Koehle has taken multiple continuing education courses for treatment of TMJ dysfunction (Jaw pain) and has studied the McKenzie method for disc injuries. Dr. Koehle treats a wide range of patients from children to seniors. She also works with professional athletes in the MLB.
Dr. Koehle was born and raised in Wasaga Beach, and is a graduate of Collingwood Collegiate Institute. A local girl, she was a CSIA certified ski instructor in the winter and lifeguard in the summers at Blue Mountain for over 15 years.
Dr. Koehle is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association. She was an examiner for many years with the Canadian Chiropractic Examination Board. Dr. Koehle is also a member of the faculty at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and works as a clinician teaching and supervising interns in their final year of chiropractic college.
