Through his compelling story of resilience, Cameron inspires adults to connect with their bodies in a way that supports a meaningful and joyful life. Cameron guides adults through movement and mindfulness practices to feel calm, confident and capable.
Cameron grew up in an athletic environment travelling North America playing baseball competitively, and achieved many successes during that time. Over the years, Cameron has also faced many adversities such as overcoming cancer, severe blood clots, and other health events. Eventually, Cameron decided to transition from athletics to a career in coaching following his own with health challenges with intentions of supporting others in reclaiming their health.
Cameron completed a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from York University, and is formally registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. He has since completed a number of certifications to support his coaching practice and has been supporting clients for over a decade. He supports clients through one-to-one movement coaching, as well as facilitating group classes and workshops. He also provides a form of hands-on bodywork called Fascial Stretch Therapy.
He firmly believes that we all have the potential to heal. It’s his mission to inspire others to connect with their bodies to gain the awareness and ability to allow this potential.
Cameron offers the following therapies at both our Collingwood and Clarksburg Clinics:
FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a unique system of table-based assisted stretching that focuses on lengthening muscles and fascia (tissue that surrounds muscle). This approach addresses the entire body, moving the joints through a pain-free range of motion. It helps to relax the mind, and an effective way to reduce pain, and improve mobility in the body.
KINESIOLOGY
A kinesiology appointment involves assessing and addressing movement, muscle function, and biomechanics to improve physical function, mobility, and reduce pain. In a session, the kinesiologist may evaluate posture, range of motion, and strength, often observing specific movements to identify areas of imbalance or weakness. Based on these assessments, they create a customized exercise and treatment plan, which can include corrective exercises, stretching, and strengthening techniques. The goal is to support recovery, prevent injury, and optimize physical performance through tailored, evidence-based strategies.
