Phoenix Rising Yoga 8 Week Program with Peg (1 Class per Week)
Become more aware, focused and mindful of what is happening in the present moment to more effectively deal with life’s stresses and transitions.
Through a variety of supported yoga postures, synchronized with the breath, you will learn to connect to your body ... and listen. Access the psycho-emotional aspects of yourself, going deep within to find your inner wisdom, and using this to clarify what truly matters to you. Body movement is followed by a guided breath meditation to calm the sympathetic nervous system, decrease stress and allow your mind to find stillness. The class will then close with an integration to help you to find awareness, insight, direction and action steps to move you forward.
Note: In order to maintain your safety at this time, please bring your own props - mat, towel, and if you have them 1 or 2 blankets, blocks, a bolster/cushion and a yoga strap. Plus a journal to record any awarenesses and action steps.
