Restorative Yoga 8 Week Program with Peg (1 Class per Week)
Experience a deep relaxation where your mind and body are able to let go ... and just be. Through a variety of supported postures held longer than usual, you will calm the sympathetic nervous system (that constant state of "fight or flight"), allow the tension in your muscles to let go and release, and help to decrease stress as your mind and body find presence through stillness. The class will end with a sitting meditation, focused on the breath as an anchor to the body. You will leave the class feeling refreshed and restored!
Note: In order to maintain your safety at this time, please bring your own props - mat, towel, and if you have them 1 or 2 blankets, blocks, a bolster/cushion and a yoga strap.
